The Middlesex County Bar Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that educate and seek to enrich the lives of the people of Middlesex County. Since it's incorporation in 1991, the Foundation has contributed over $500,000 to law-related public education projects, law school scholarships and grants to the community. With your help, we can continue to educate and change the lives for our future citizens.

Why should I donate to The Middlesex County Bar Foundation?

  • Your donation makes a difference in helping to educate the children and adults of Middlesex County about the law and the administration of justice, and its impact on their lives.
  • 100% percent of annual donations go directly to supporting our service projects around the County.

How we use donations?  Your donations help support and sustain the following:

  • High School Mock Trial Competitions
  • Rutgers University Mock Trial Association
  • Law-on-the-Line Community Television Program
  • Law School Scholarships
  • Community Service Projects
  • National Adoption Day
  • Middlesex County Courthouse Art History Project
  • Hope for the Holidays Fund Drive
  • Help for the Homeless Annual Fund Drive
  • Toys for Tots Holiday Drive

What impact can your donation have?

  • The Middlesex County Bar Foundation believes that education is key to a democratic society. Your donations help us to sustain and grow our law-related educational programming for the entire Middlesex County Community, including people of all ages and walks of life.

The Middlesex County Bar Foundation offers members the opportunity to make contributions to the Foundation in honor of a special event or accomplishment, such as a graduation, birth of a child/grandchild, bar or bat mitzvah, engagement, marriage, etc., or to memorialize a family member or close friend.

Contributions can be given and dedicated to the following areas:

  • Scholarship Loan Fund - Scholarship loans and grants are made annually to needy Middlesex County law school students;
  • Law-Related Public Service Activities
  • In honor of a special event or accomplishment (graduation,, birth of child/grandchild, bar/bat mitzvah, marriage, etc.
  • To memorialize a family member or close friend

Gifts can also be made by will.

Sample bequest language to be inserted in a will is as follows:

"I give the sum of $                                to the Middlesex County Bar Foundation, Inc., located at 87 Bayard Street #1, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08901, a not for profit corporation of the State of New Jersey."

(Acknowledgment of your contribution would be sent to your designated recipient recognizing your donation.)
