To Fellow Bar Members:

Part of our mission is to be involved in the community and the Bar Foundation has decided to volunteer at Elijah’s Promise Soup Kitchen.  Our commitment will be the 1st Tuesday of the month, starting on January 2nd, from 4:00pm to 7:30pm, with a 5-person team preparing food, serving and cleaning up afterwards.

We are looking for members to step up and join us in this small effort to help those in need.

Volunteers are expected to commit to at least one 3½ hour shift.  If you would like to volunteer for more shifts, we’ll be happy to accommodate your schedule.

For more information about the soup kitchen and what is involved in volunteering, check out their website at http://elijahspromise.org/promise-programs/community-kitchen/.

We will need 5 people per shift, so if you are interested, please click here and send us your cell phone number and email address.  Please note that with only 5 volunteer slots per shift we will not be able to accommodate everyone’s first choice, so please provide us with a list of 3 dates (1st Tuesday of month, through December 2018) on which you would like to volunteer.

Thank you very much.
